Based on a notorious murder trial, this movie portrays Sam Sheppard, an osteopathic surgeon in Cleveland, who is accused of having murdered his wife. Surprisingly good production and cinematography give the movie the ambiance of the fifties in this murder investigation/mystery movie with good performances by both George Peppard and Barnard Hughes.
